LFT-Based Identification of Lateral Vehicle Dynamics

چکیده

This paper presents a novel estimation and identification approach for lateral vehicle dynamics. The algorithm leverages on Linear Fraction Transform (LFT) reformulation of tyre models, allowing simple computationally efficient inclusion complex nonlinear dynamic like, example, two-wheels, four-wheels or single-track as model, Pacejka, brush Fiala model. As result, this technique can be easily adopted in the development an online system, able to run standard embedded device, implementing flexible procedure that handle different driving conditions, up limits handling, modelling approaches, input measurements. Experimental results demonstrate effectiveness proposal, either persistent excitation non-persistent scenario.
